On Sunday 1st June we held our first Blood Brothers Run – a memorial ride for Ian Prout, our late brother and past Vice Chairman of Cornwall Blood Bikes.
We met in Marazion Station car park, where the rain clouds clearer, and the Run heading to Lands End then on a scenic route, finishing at Ian’s local – The Star Inn, Vogue.
We were delighted by the turnout, and to have the Blood Bikes with us at the start and finish. It was also great to have Ian’s family ride with us.
In July returned to The Star Inn, Vogue to meet with cornwallbloodbikes for a celebratory carvery meal, and to present them with monies raised by the Blood Brothers Run, our memorial ride for Ian Prout, held on the 1st Sunday of June.
Alex Prout made the cheque presentation of £1,000 – a wonderful amount for the first event.
